typical day today in beautiful, sunny, and warm downtown Daytona Beach FLorida.....
off to work at 6:30 to a busy day ahead of me.....got about 60K worth of tires sitting on the floor of the shop waiting for the wave of the magic wand to put them away.....two cars that are getting new motors waiting on that same magic wand to finish them.....couple of other various projects that require immediate attention just like everybody else in the service industry.....but then the phone rings about midafternoon and it's the olelongroof......seems he stopped the old falcon way up on the beach when the tide was in.....of course this is okay as long as you move it when the tide goes out...but if you wait too long the sand dries out and it becomes soft and as we all know...heavy things sink in soft sand....but back to the call...he's stuck and the kid is getting ready for a b-ball game and can't offer any assist....as I have nothing to do and it cost $100 bucks for a tow truck to come to the rescue, I'm heading north east to assist.....now when I am driving north on the beach looking for the old bus I see this character sitting in a beach chair facing the western sky absorbing the last of the sun's ray before it drops behind the local highrises that line our shore....in the shade sits the longroof.....
so this is what I see.....
gotta a much needed laugh as I drove up and saw Jon-Jon sitting there in his beach chair......
didn't even need the fourwheel drive of the truck I borrowed.....just a little push would have done it......thanks for not burying it....I'm sure we will bury a couple this Sunday at Sara's place......
that's what I saw today.......
CELEBRATE LIFE.....

Told ya it was John-John 's fault
Keep him in Fla, we don't want him to get stuck up here
LOL
I have no fear of getting stuck...looking forward to seeing the family.
