Grandpa George passed away recently...
heard about his passing and thought about how neat he was...
Grandpa George was the guy that the kid bought his first jeep from....
the memory of sitting in front of his shop and listening to him haggle with James about the cost of the Jeep is priceless....
knowing the whole time that the kid was going to come out a winner was fantastic....
a really good guy....
I truly believe that he received more enjoyment out of the time spent with the kid, than he ever let anyone know....
I spent quite a few hours later just sitting and listening to him talk.....
As a WWII veteran he surely enjoyed CELEBRATING LIFE.....
and I am fortunate to have CELEBRATED a bit of it with him......
And as he was known to say...
"what happens on this side of the road is my business,
you cross the road and it becomes Mama's business."
For what you did for my son and I,
Thank You Sir....
For what you sacrificed for our country,
Everyone Thanks You Sir.....
